Expanding north Tulsa's legacy
With deep neighborhood bonds and a complex history, north Tulsa is home to a resilient community looking toward a brighter future.
Closing the gaps
Opportunity gaps are evident throughout north Tulsa (neighborhoods north of U.S. Interstate 244), where data shows that a person born in the neighborhood will live 11 fewer years than a person born in south Tulsa. Through affordable, quality housing developments, improving access to career opportunities, neighborhood beautification and more, we support efforts to close these gaps and end disparities.
Our approach
InvestNorth is an initiative that partners with the community to invest in programs that deliver upward mobility, wealth creation and the revitalization of neighborhoods. GKFF supports a wide range of community-based initiatives in north Tulsa, from Apache Street to the south, 56th Street to the north, Lewis Avenue to the East and the Tisdale Parkway to the west. With six neighborhoods across six square miles, InvestNorth builds on north Tulsa’s proud and rich history to bring the community's aspirations to life. InvestNorth is channeling resources into core focus areas designed to uplift the community and honor the legacy of its heritage: quality housing, community health and wellness, wealth creation and access to education.
InvestNorth is transforming public amenities, reimagining public housing and evolving social services to ensure that people thrive.
