A hub of culture and commerce
The Phoenix Development Council is establishing the Phoenix District in north Tulsa as a vibrant hub where Black businesses, from restaurants to entertainment venues, invigorate every corner.
Supported by GKFF's InvestNorth initiative, the organization seeks to elevate the community experience of the neighborhood by enhancing public spaces, encouraging local entrepreneurship and creating a destination that celebrates the unique spirit and culture of north Tulsa.
Their work is the driving force behind the economic development plans for the 36th Street North Corridor Small Area Plan, a plan that will help transform the area into a bustling business district and a diverse, attractive place to live.
