Children are born learning. Before age three, a child’s brain is 80% the size of an adult. This period of time is widely believed to be the most active for neural connections, which are the foundation of learning.
The foundation subsidizes the opportunity for approximately 2,400 low-income children to attend center-based early learning programs year-round. Each year, thousands more children across Tulsa benefit from a wide array of home visiting, community-based parenting programs, pediatric practice supports and other efforts supporting planned pregnancies and healthy births.
