Bringing visionary ideas to life
Each year, the Artists Creative Fund empowers a diverse group of artists and creatives as they test ideas, explore collaborations and build skills to generate innovative work.
An external panel of arts practitioners and mentors selects 20 projects, submitted by individuals or in teams, through a competitive review process, awarding $10,000 grants to each. The lead artist must be a Tulsan with at least one year of residency in the city. These grants support a wide range of artistic disciplines, including dance, theater, music, spoken word, performance art, traditional and folk arts, visual art (2D and 3D), film, literary arts and multi-disciplinary combinations, fostering diverse creative expressions across Tulsa.
Awardees hold one public-facing event with Tulsa audiences during the grant period and participate in cohort-based professional development opportunities throughout the grant period (typically July - March) to support the continued development of their creative practice.
