Cynthia Jasso Burke

Cynthia Jasso Burke is a Senior Program Officer at the George Kaiser Family Foundation, where she works on resident-centered neighborhood development and immigrant inclusion. She joined GKFF in 2020 after spending nearly 6 years in education, first as an educator and then moving into leadership roles at a national education-based nonprofit. Cynthia serves on several community boards and task forces including as a gubernatorial appointee to the Oklahoma State Work Permits and Visas Taskforce. She is the daughter of Mexican immigrants whose sacrifice allowed her to become a first-generation college graduate from UCLA. Cynthia is the proud mother to an almost-two-year-old toddler and wife to a lifelong Oklahoman.
